Welcome to the Global Inspirations Design Blog
Global Inspirations Design is more than a name, it’s my personal design journey that I’m inviting you to be part of.
I’m Simone Aïda Baur and I started writing this blog shortly after launching my interior design consultancy in 2014 to share my lifelong passion for interior design with the world..
Filled with inspirations from across the globe, stories about some of the most extraordinary hotels and my overall experience of living a global life in diverse cultures, this blog is your passport to global inspirations and discoveries.
I write about every aspect of interior design, but mostly about residential and hotel interiors. Living and working all over the globe has not only inspired my work, but also made me realise that interior design truly is the secret ingredient of feeling at home anywhere in the world.
This ‘Sense of Home’ is an integral part of the human experience and as such my raison d’être as an interior designer.
If you are ready to be inspired, then I invite you to read on.
Happy stylish discoveries!
Simone xx
