It was the stunning Rosewood Mayakoba in Playa del Carmen, Mexico that originally inspired this blog.
By doing so, Simone rediscovered her passion for writing and found a way of marrying her love for beautiful hotels with her new career in interior design.
Over the years, she actively seeked out some of the most beautiful hotels in Switzerland to visit and write about and recently decided to again explore more hotels further ashore. This was just before the pandemic hit. With this said, the bucket list of unique places and spaces around the globe is ever-growing.
Given Simone’s weakness and love for the Caribbean, this section will mostly focus on extraordinary hotels and resorts in tropical and exotic places, because life is better in flip flops.
